Unused vacation time

Timeshare Rental Management

Explore whether unused weeks can be rented under your resort or club rules, and what a rental arrangement would involve.

1. Check Rental Eligibility

Every timeshare program has its own rental policies. We start by reviewing your resort or vacation club rules to determine whether your unused vacation time may qualify for rental.

We help you understand reservation windows, guest certificate requirements, rental restrictions, ownership limitations and any resort fees that may apply.

Your Benefit

Understand your options and potential restrictions before making any commitments.

2. Evaluate Your Rental Opportunity

If rental is permitted, we help assess your resort location, available dates, unit size, seasonal demand and comparable vacation accommodations.

We discuss possible pricing, marketing approaches, booking deadlines, cancellation terms and anticipated expenses. Where legally authorized and agreed in writing, coordination may include marketing and guest arrangements.

Your Benefit

Make a more informed decision about whether an eligible rental makes financial sense.

3. Rental Coordination & Owner Support

If you choose to proceed, we explain the process and document responsibilities, fees, payment arrangements and timelines in writing.

Depending on the agreed scope and legal authorization, support may include reservation documentation, guest information, status updates and resort communication. You will know which responsibilities remain with you as the owner.

Your Benefit

A more organized process, clearer communication and fewer unexpected questions.

Rental income & maintenance-fee planning

Make Your Unused Vacation Time Work for You

When resort rules permit, a completed rental may provide proceeds that help offset annual maintenance fees. Timeshare Legacy can help you explore eligibility, estimate possible proceeds and plan for future expenses.

Example: A Rental That Helps Offset Fees

Annual maintenance fees$2,400
Illustrative completed rental$2,000
Proposed 10% commission−$200
Proceeds before other costs$1,800
Potential fee offset75%

Illustration only, before any other fees or taxes. Rental availability, proceeds and maintenance-fee offsets are not guaranteed.

How Timeshare Legacy Helps

  • Review whether unused weeks qualify for rental.
  • Discuss potential proceeds and associated costs.
  • Compare estimated proceeds with annual maintenance-fee obligations.
  • Set a savings target for any remaining balance in an account you control.
  • Revisit the plan as resort fees and circumstances change.

We provide planning and coordination; we do not hold or manage customer reserve funds.
